To join Rhody Fly Rodders please send an email to John Pope to receive a membership form. Dues are $30 annually and include the following:
Winter Meetings
From October through April, members gather monthly at the Riverside Sportsman Association for hands-on fly tying, expert-led seminars, and camaraderie with anglers who share our passion.
Each meeting features:
Live fly-tying sessions
Engaging presentations and seminars from respected industry leaders
Door prizes
A cash bar
Plenty of time to connect with fellow anglers
We kick off the indoor season with a lively pizza party and wrap it up in the spring with a barbecue and lawn casting session to get everyone ready for the season ahead.
Fishing Outings
We host five to six fishing outings each spring and fall, bringing members together to fish waters across the state. Many of these trips end with a barbecue—good food, good stories, and great company.
Community & Connections
Our group fosters friendships and connections. Members often fish together in Rhode Island and also travel regionally and internationally for shared adventures. Rhody Fly Rodders is also active in supporting local charities, giving members the chance to connect, share experiences, and make a difference.
