All are welcome to join us at our meetings.  Our focus is fly-fishing in saltwater.  Rhody members, however, have expertise in all forms of salt and freshwater fishing.  They gladly pass on informatin concerning tackle and techniques to those who use conventional or spinning equipment.  The advent of the soft plastic fishing lure has added a new dimension to the sport and many of the lessons learned from using the fly rod can be adapted to these.  Many of the members started as surfcasters and boating anglers.  They share their knowledge of tides and locations of local fishing waters during our meetings.
