Please join us this month for a fun night of Fly Tying!
We will be tying flies for our charity this year,
‘Reel Recovery.’ This is an organization that brings men
suffering with cancer together for therapeutic fly tying and
fly fishing, where they bond and share information with medical personnel, and with each other.
Come and tie, or learn from 5 member experts, and share in
a great evening of information and conversation!

REMINDER
Rhody Fly Rodders Fishing / Cookout Meeting
Narrow River, (Sprague Bridge) Rt 1A, Narragansett, RI
Tuesday, Aug. 7th.
This will be the in-coming tide, as the High tide in the river is about 7:00 pm.
Arrive when you want and fish the afternoon if you can.
We will start the cookout part around 5:00 pm, and then fish till dark, or the fishing sucks.
This is open to all members and non-members alike.
We would like to have two small grills so we can cook all the ’stuff’ faster for you hungry guys! (if you have one, bring it)
Please bring what you want for us to cook, hot dogs, burgers, sausage, and some buns – whatever.
Most of the time we’ll have extra for those who can’t bring their own, so don’t worry.
Also, bring a chair for yourself.
Chips, water and condiments will be available for you.
Thanks to all of you for making this the best club on the East coast!
See you there!
Peter

Greetings Rhody Fly Rodders & Friends,
Please find a copy of the RFR February newsletter here http://rhodyflyrodders.com/…/RFR-February18-Newsletter-for-…
Please come and join us on Tuesday, February 20th at 6:30pm,
for a presentation about ‘Reading the Water,’ with Peter Jenkins.
How to ‘Read the Water’ is the subject matter of our February presenter, Peter Jenkins, owner of ‘The Saltwater Edge.’ He will give us the formula for reading the water so that we have a better chance to successfully catch Striped Bass or any one of the other fish that swim our coastline.
Peter is the owner of the Saltwater Edge in Middletown, Rhode Island, and the Lead Instructor at the Orvis Saltwater Fly Fishing Schools.
He is a member of RISAA, and Chairman of the Access Sub-Committee of the Legislative Committee.
So come February 20th and learn about ‘Reading the Water’. We’ll have some bucket raffles, good company – and the coffee pot will be on.
All are welcome. Bring a friend.
